What you need and the 28-day rule
At registration you need property details, a correspondence address in England or Wales, and details of any managing agents, superior landlords or freeholders. Within 28 days (or at registration): gas safety certificate if the property has gas, electrical safety certificate, EPC, tenancy details including rent, and any licences such as an HMO licence. Missing information within 28 days may deactivate your registration — if the property is still rented, you are in breach.
